About Child & Adolescent Care

Cypress Grove offers a therapeutic environment for children and adolescents ages 5-17 displaying acute psychiatric disorders including anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, impulse control disorders, as well as suicidal ideations or homicidal behavior. We provide an individualized full continuum of psychiatric care by board certified professionals at our facilities in Bastrop and Ferriday, Louisiana. 

Our program focuses on the identified emotional needs of children & teens, helping them and their families to work through their crisis to stabilize and improve their quality of life. The goal is for the patients to have the ability to improve upon and have healthy family and peer relationships.
